- Administers
strategies and adapts plans to promote students’ success and retention,
in coordination with the academic units.
- Fosters
a culture of learning and engagement for MUBS students to promote satisfaction
and academic success.
- Oversees,
trains, and directs student affairs officers in the university.
- Develops
relationships with faculty and staff to plan student initiatives in
alignment with the University goals.
- Prescribes,
evaluates, and continuously reviews student policies and procedures in
accordance with the University’s mission, vision, and strategic plan.
- Assures
effective communication with students and stakeholders.
- Ensures
student rights and responsibilities are followed and respected.
- Monitors
and evaluates student services provided on each campus, including
advising, counseling, activities, and career services to ensure reliable
and high quality services.
- Examines
and evaluates students’ needs, requests, and petitions as appropriate.
- Manages
the student affairs related content on the University website and
publications to ensure relevance and accuracy of information.
- Provides
support to the University’s goals, mission, vision, and strategic plan.
- Uses
own initiative as appropriate.
