MUBS Launches its Partnership with Cardiff Metropolitan University

On Tuesday, September 4th, 2012, Modern University for Business and Science(MUBS) and hosted by the British Ambassador to Lebanon H.E Mr. Tom Fletcher, launched the opening of the first British University in Lebanon and specifically at MUBS, Cardiff Metropolitan University. The event was hosted at the residence of the Ambassador, with the presence of several propitious figures. The partnership was launched with hopes that it will be a marking point in the educational system in the Middle East, and a unique opportunity for students in earning two accredited degrees (Lebanese and British) in Business and Management Studies, Business Information Systems, and the first MBA in Project Management degree in Lebanon.

The event began with a welcoming speech delivered by the British Ambassador H.E Mr. Tom Fletcher, where he discussed the importance of such association between different Universities. This opportunity will be a building block to different educational programs, and opportunities which will be of great benefit to Lebanese students.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Anthony Chapman expressed his gratitude to the efforts made by MUBS, and their consistency in meeting the high standards of British education, in order to form such prominent partnership.

Dr.Hatem Alamy, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at MUBS concluded with many appreciations to Cardiff Metropolitan University and the British Embassy in giving MUBS the trust in opening the First British University at MUBS, with hopes in continuing such success and achieving more accomplishments throughout the years.

The Event concluded with trophy exchange between Dr.Hatem Alamy, H.E Mr. Tom Fletcher, Prof. Anthony Chapman, and MUBS BOT member Mr. Mounir Hamze.
