Ms. Fayad is the Head of English Department at MUBS. She is currently finalizing her Ph.D. in English Literature from the Lebanese University. Her Ph.D. focuses on Feminism, cross-cultural identity and the psychological dilemmas that are portrayed in the novels of Arab American female writers. Ms. Fayad holds a B.A. in English Literature and a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology both from Haigazian University. She has published an article under the title: “A Lacanian Analysis on the Duality in Mohja Kahf’s The Girl in The Tangerine Scarf”. Ms. Fayad has also held several management positions in different schools and colleges in Saudi Arabia such as the Foundation Manager at Laureate Vocational College in Saudi Arabia, and the head of English Department at Dar Al Fikr Schools. In addition to her teaching experience, Ms. Fayad is a Clinical Psychologist and has her own clinic. She believes that the key factor to motivating students is seeing them from within and realizing their potential, and that’s how her psychological knowledge and practice come into place. Ms. Roudayna is also a CELTA certified instructor where she has all the needed skills to teach the English language for adults and is a certified speaking examiner.
