MUBS Hosts Stress and Its Impact on Health at the Badaro Campus

The Modern University for Business and Science's (MUBS) School of Health Sciences (SHS) organized a seminar on "Stress & Its Impact on Health" at the Badaro Campus to raise awareness. Following the national anthem, Dr. Nada Alaaeddine, Dean of the School of Health Sciences (SHS) and Regenerative Medicine Specialist launched the seminar in the presence of a number of prominent educational, cultural, and military figures.

In her speech, Dr. Alaaeddine emphasized the importance of mental health in light of the Lebanese crisis. Dr. Nael Alami, MUBS Vice President, then delivered a speech in which he highlighted the university's partnerships, achievements, and joint projects with international universities such as Stanford University, Princeton University, and Emory University in the United States, allowing its students to interact with the most prominent researchers and professors in various disciplines, and developing their academic and practical abilities to be effective in the labor market.

The symposium's doctors and specialists then began their speeches, including Dr. Wassim Shatila, Cardiology Specialist, Dr. Charbel Haber, Ophthalmology Specialist, Dr. Salam Koussa, Neurological Diseases Specialist, and Dr. Rajaa Chatila, Gastroenterology Specialist, as well as Psychiatrist Mrs. Vanessa Mourtada and Nutritionist Ms. Mira Tueny. The lecturers addressed the topic of stress in all of its facets, as well as its harmful impacts on physical and psychological health. The dean wrapped up the symposium with a speech in which she thanked the presenters, the audience, the press, and everyone who helped make this scientific seminar a success. She also acknowledged the event's sponsors and supporters, Goodies, Stemica, and COR Medicine. Then she invited everyone to Goodies' cocktail party.
