Movember ("Mo: Moustache ", and "November ) is an annual event where men grow out their moustaches in November as a means to change the face of men's health and spread awareness concerning prostate and testicular cancer, poor mental health, and physical inactivity. Movember aims to increase early cancer detection, promote early diagnosis and effective treatments, and ultimately reduce the number of preventable deaths.

In order to raise awareness of men’s health issues, the School of Health Sciences (SHS) organized a seminar on the "Role of Antioxidants in Male Infertility ", on the 25th of November.

Opening and closing notes were shared by Mrs. Laura Hjeij, Acting Chair of the Nutrition Department, and Dr. Nisreen Alwan, Acting Dean of SHS. Dr. Abbas Khadra, Consultant Urologist and Andrologist, discussed the various causes and mechanisms of male infertility. He then elaborated on the role that antioxidants play in the treatment of male infertility.

GNC-Armal sponsored the event. They presented 10 $50 gift vouchers to some very lucky attendees.
