The Future of Healthcare in Lebanon

Healthcare was and continues to be a jewel in the crown of the Lebanese Saga. The Healthcare sector in Lebanon has solidly proven itself year over year, and continues to do so fulfilling medical services (Hospitalization, complex medical operations, healing, medical tourism) to people from all Arab countries and the world. Despite significant challenging situations from wars, to shortage of resources, to brain drain, to regional competition, it has shown an excellent ability to adapt and maintain its leading status as the trendsetter in the Middle East in areas of medical research, development, and practice.

The Healthcare sector remains in flux as policy, regulation, and technology shape the market. In the past few years, there has been a growing movement to improve the quality and delivery of Healthcare in Lebanon and the region. Although the governmental bodies are the official regulators, the private healthcare providers are the real influential forces in the market.

With all the above key success factors and in light of the changes and challenges faced, many concerns arise about what the Lebanese Healthcare sector will act to maintain its status and leading role.

In order to shed light on that, the Modern University for Business and Science (MUBS) takes pleasure in inviting you to its first symposium on “The Future of Healthcare in Lebanon”.The symposium is under the auspice and in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Public Health H. E. Mr. Ghassan Hasbani and in collaboration with the Directorate General of Higher Education.
