Students from the Art & Design Department at MUBS participated in SHIFT FORWARD, the first annual Graphic Design student exhibition organized by the Lebanese Graphic Design Syndicate (LGDS) in partnership with universities across Lebanon. The event took place at KED, Beirut, under the patronage of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education from 24 - 27 April 2018.
SHIFT FORWARD’s main objective is to orient the new generation of graphic designers to the real world of graphic design and to think outside the box.
The MUBS students presented projects on various trending topics. Al Woujoud by Rasha Al Mrawed shed light on a social problem, Zawarib by Mohammad Abboud introduced Beirut and Metanoia by Dayana Abdelkhalek encouraged reading. Two projects focused on rebranding: The National Museum by Farah Haidar and Ras el Matn by Lilian Jaafar.
The exhibition closed with an epic party where students bid to win a cool Vespa scooter.
