I hold a MRes degree in Science Education and Training, and a MSc in
Education and Training - Specialization: Chemistry, both with high
distinction from the Lebanese University – Faculty of Education. I also
hold a Master’s degree in Physical Chemistry and Chemistry of Materials
from the Lebanese University – Faculty of Science, and a Bachelor degree
in General Chemistry from the same university.
In addition, I
hold a “Training of Trainers” diploma, a diploma in “Therapeutic
Teaching for Learning Disabilities Students”, a certificate in "Core
Entrepreneurial and Business Skills", and a certification in the
"Fundamentals of Digital Marketing"
I am currently a course
instructor and a course leader at the Modern University for Business and
Science – MUBS, an Accredited Trainer at the International Academy of
Building Capacity and other NGO’s, a Chemistry Teacher for the secondary
level, a previous Math Coordinator for the middle level and a previous
Chemistry, Physics and Biology teacher for the middle level.
I
am also an Educational consultant for Jobs for Lebanon and for
educational institutions, an in-service trainer and professional
activities developer for schools in Lebanon.
My teaching
interests are the Methodology of Teaching Science and Mathematics,
Curriculum Planning and Design, Technology in Education, Curriculum
Assessment and Evaluation and Educational Research Methodology.
In
addition, I am excelled in several statistical software for
quantitative and qualitative data analysis. Fluent in Arabic, French,
English and a beginner in Spanish.
I was a second place winner
of the MIT Lebanon Challenge 2020 (Sub-Track 3.B.Knowledge Economy) as
part of the team behind “Campus for Lebanon”. Also, I was honored from
the “Story of Awareness” association for my contribution in their
training sessions.
