Dr. Jeanne Andary graduated from the Lebanese University with a BS in physiology in 2002, and the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (Lebanon) awarded her an MS in Pharmacology and Cosmetology in 2005.
In 2011 (with jury felicitation), she received a PhD in Analytical Chemistry and Chemometrix from AgrosParistech in France. Research subject: valorization of olive stones as a waste product and monitoring of the neoformed molecules: carbohydrates, furans, and polyphenols.
She joined the American University of Science and Technology (AUST) as an assistant professor in 2012, and lectured many courses at different Lebanese universities (LGU, ULF…).
Supervising and mentoring numerous research projects. Since 2008, she has supervised the graduation of over 20 master's students on a national and international level. Assisting the Pharmacovigilance studies of some AstraZeneca drugs.
Dr. Andary is a member of the Global Food Regulatory Science Society (GFoRSS) and the Association of Official Analytical Chemists (AOAC), and she recently obtained the ISO 22000 and HACCP certificates.
