Noura Issam Yazbeck is an instructor at the Faculty of Health Sciences at MUBS, which she joined in 2023. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Biology at Beirut Arab University (BAU), focusing on the use of herbal medicine to treat conditions such as inflammation, cancer, and kidney diseases. During her PhD studies, she has acquired diverse molecular biology and biochemical skills.
She holds a master's degree in Neurosciences from the Lebanese University, Faculty of Medical Sciences, where she was one of fifty selected candidates from among hundreds of applicants. Her master's thesis systematically reviewed gait impairments in rodent models of autism spectrum disorder and related diseases, focusing on anatomical sites and molecular markers.
In addition to her teaching and research responsibilities, she is skilled in microbiology tests, animal housing, and is proficient in various laboratory techniques and research tools. She is ready for future research endeavors and eager to contribute to the growth and development of the faculty.
