Bachelor of Science in Accounting

The field of accounting, an ever growing field, is considered as one of the core functions of organizations. It deals with identifying, measuring and communicating data and information to assist management at all levels in making informed financial and economic decisions

The Bachelor of Science in Accounting is designed to provide student with the knowledge and skills required for an excellent career opportunities. The program expose student to broad business education with concentration on accounting practices and conventions. Students develop interpersonal, teamwork and problem-solving skills, and learn how to apply technology to the field of accounting. Student will learn about the tax law, auditing practices, and technologies that play important roles in advancing the field.

Career Opportunities

Accounting presents students with excellent career opportunities at public and private organizations and institutions. About 35% of the jobs opportunities available are in the field of accounting. The field is wide and open. Graduate can pursue a career as Accountant, Financial Analyst, Auditor, Business Consultant, Controller, Treasurer or Government Tax Auditor.
