Bachelor of Science in Marketing (BSM)

Marketing is a broad, dynamic field that covers many business activities associated with products and services development; from inception to consumption. The Bachelor of Science in Marketing is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills about marketing and its role as the creator of value for consumers, organizations, and society, and prepares them for the most vital function in an organization. Students learn the fundamental principles involved in selling a service, promoting a product or building a brand.

The program prepares students for careers in advertising and communications, marketing research, program development, product management, public relations and sales operations and management.

Program Requirement: 94 Credits consist of:

21 cr. of general university requirements

12 cr. general education requirements,

09 cr. elective courses

73 cr. of Mandatory requirements

48 cr. core requirements

25 cr. major requirements

Career Opportunities

The marketing major enables graduates to access jobs such as sales manager, brand or product manager, customer relationship manager, event coordinator, marketing consultant, retail store manager, market research analyst and advertising account executive.
