The B.Sc. in Optometry and Vision Science program prepares students to meet the challenges of expanding primary eye care as the practice of optometry evolves over the coming decades. The objective of the program is to provide undergraduate university education in optometry and vision science. As a result, students will be able to use visual aids, optical devices, and imaging techniques to fully evaluate how the visual system works.

Program Requirements: 114 credits consist of

Total required credits: 114 credits consist of:

1.      21 cr. of general university requirements

    12 cr. general education requirements
     9 cr. elective courses

2.      93 cr. of mandatory courses

    18 cr. major requirements
    75 cr. core requirements
