Mrs. Shereen Omar is the Acting Chairperson of the Nursing Department at the School of Health Sciences. She is earned her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the Lebanese University. Additionally, she holds a master’s degree in advanced Community and Public Health from the Hariri School of Nursing, American University of Beirut (AUB). She also obtained a certificate of attendance in Health Management and Quality Control, with a year of specialized training in this sector.

Mrs. Shereen has worked as a Nursing Educator and Instructor at nursing institutions including Ard Jaloul for 12 years and the Lebanese University for 5 years. She also served as a Clinical Preceptor at the Hariri School of Nursing (AUB) for 2 years.

Mrs. Shereen has an extensive experience in curriculum development, particularly in the area of solid waste management (3 RRRs). Her dedication to the field of nursing and commitment to continuous improvement have been the driving forces behind her professional journey.
