• New and existing undergraduate students may be eligible for one form of reduction in the cost of tuition each semester. Scholarships and different scholarships may not be combined. The highest percentage value will be awarded.
• Scholarships are not applied when there is an outstanding balance owing to MUBS that is not paid by the last day to register without late registration penalties.
• Undergraduate HONOR LIST STUDENTS SCHOLARSHIP is the only scholarship that can be added to one of the other existing scholarships.
• Any scholarship above 40% requires an approval from the Chairman.
• Early Registration Scholarship: Students who register up to two months before the beginning of the semester are eligible to a zero-application fee.
• Winners or those who qualify for a reduction in the cost of tuition may not appeal the decision of the University or the percentage or amount of reduction assigned. The decision to grant or deny a reduction in cost is final.
• Other related costs are not waived. The scholarship is applied to the cost of tuition only. A refund is not granted for the scholarship amount should the student drop or withdraw from a course.
• Applicants must provide evidence that they meet the minimum qualification for the scholarship.
• Scholarships and Financial Aid apply for students enrolled in a minimum of 12 credits.
• By the end of their second semester and onwards, students should maintain a Minimum CGPA of 2.0 to stay eligible for the scholarships and financial aid provided to them when admitted, otherwise the following applies:

Once the GPA rises back to 2.0, the student can continue to benefit from the scholarship and financial aid.

Sibling Scholarship

Students having a brother(s) or sister(s) registered at the University will benefit from a 20% UG & 10% PG scholarship on the tuition fees of the registered courses.

Spouse Scholarship

The husband or wife of a student will benefit from a 20% UG & 10% PG

Alumni Scholarship

1. Graduates of MUBS who pursue a Master’s program will benefit from a 20% scholarship on the tuition fees of the registered courses.
2. The children or siblings of alumni will benefit from a 20% UG & 10% PG scholarship on the tuition fees.

Government Employee Scholarship

Students who are employed in government institutions that do not have MOU with MUBS will benefit from a 20% PG scholarship on the tuition fees of the registered courses.

Transfer Students

Students transferring from any local or international Higher Education Institute receive the following scholarships.

1. 20%: 60% credits or more
2. 15%: Less than 60% credits

Athletic Scholarship

The Sports Department should be contacted for athletic scholarship and scholarship.

Scholarship for Students who have Lost a Parent 

Applicants who are under 20 years old and lost their father are entitled to 30% (UG) within MUBS community outreach and social present.

Low-income Students

Low-income students should apply for Financial Aid and submit the required documents:

• Family Civil Status Record
• Siblings’ or Children School Statement and Fees
• Recent Employment Certificate for Father, Mother, Student (UG) & Student only (PG) or NSSF Document of Unemployment for Father (UG) & Student only (PG).

Full-time University Staff

1. He/she should have been under the University employment for at least one year
2. The employee scholarship will be 50% (PG) of the tuition fees.
3. The discount will be valid during her/his employment period at the University.
4. The employee should work for a minimum of two years at MUBS after graduating
5. The employee is eligible to submit a Need-Based grant

Part-time University Staff

1. The employee scholarship will be 40% (PG) of the tuition fees.
2. The scholarship will be valid during her/his employment period at the University.

Honor List Students Scholarship 

MUBS provides direct financial support to students in the form of tuition fees reduction according to their GPA:

Undergraduate HONOR LIST STUDENTS SCHOLARSHIP is the only scholarship that can be added to one of the other existing scholarships not to exceed a total scholarship of 50% for a student. Undergraduate students who have 12 registered credits or more are only eligible to the Honors List. Only courses with numerical grades are taken into consideration. Freshman courses, remedial courses, and courses with P are eliminated from the GPA calculation. The Honors List scholarship is given on the actual tuition fees the student is paying after scholarship if exists and not the original tuition fees.
