• Smoking is not allowed in public access, teaching or working areas in any of the University’s buildings.
• The policy includes private offices, libraries, auditoriums, staircases, toilets, storerooms, lifts, and University vehicles.
• All forms of smoking (cigarettes, cigars, pipes, electronic cigarettes, etc.) are prohibited. Smoking cannot be considered safe or less harmful in any amount or form.
• All students, faculty, staff or visitors who enter any property owned or controlled by the University should know about the policy.

• It is the responsibility of all members of the University community to comply with this policy.
• Students/employees need to be kept well informed about changes to University policy.
• The success of policy depends on the thoughtfulness, consideration, and cooperation of smokers and non-smokers.
