Short Bio

As a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario, my background includes a Master of Nursing and a Bachelor of Science education in Collaborative Nursing and a Minor in Psychology from the University of Windsor in Canada, along with over ten years of clinical (acute and chronic) and academic professional experiences in the following areas: provided skillful level of knowledge of competent Nursing care involving Neurology, Oncology, ICU, Dialysis, Respirology, Urology, and Medical/Surgical clients; proven effective communication and leadership skills along with excellent interpersonal and consultation skills; working knowledge of curriculum building and classroom instruction; experience in leading quality improvement initiatives; demonstrated proficient level of professionalism in self-management and teamwork; advocated for vulnerable clients to identify their unique needs and wants by creating individualized care plans; and conducted audits and surveys concerning the development of evidence-based practice. I have also obtained a Post-Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Care and Education from the University of Dundee in Scotland in 2014, and I am currently in the process of publishing as the Assistant Vice President for Research and a Faculty Member at the Modern University for Business and Science in Lebanon.
