Quality Assurance Workshop “Self-Assessment”

Dr. Bassem Kaissi, and Dr. Nidal Makarem participated on behalf of MUBS in a Quality Assurance Workshop organized by Beirut Arab University (BAU), in collaboration with AGENCE UNIVERSITAIRE DE LA FRANCOPHONIE, and the Lebanese Ministry of Education and Higher Education, on February 22, 2017. The objective of the seminar was to introduce the concept of Self-Assessment to participants through multiple sessions, that covered subjects related to concept of self-study for students, and concept of teaching and learning, tools & evidence, standards & surveys.

The learning outcomes of the workshop were focused on acquiring an understanding of self-study, its purpose, process and tools, and define the tools needed for self-assessment in the domains of teaching and learning and students, in addition to identifying the evidence.
