Cardiff Metropolitan University Partner Conference 2017 “Global Education without Borders”

Dr. Nidal Makarem, Dr. Samer Hamzeh, and Mrs. Diana Nahle participated on behalf of MUBS at the Partner Conference 2017 organized by Cardiff Metropolitan University (UK) on March 16 & 17, 2017.

The conference was conducted over two days, and included multiple sessions that covered very important subjects such as, Internationalization of Research (from university and partner perspectives), Global Economy and Skills for Employability, Value of Student Union Engagement, Internationalizing the Curriculum, and the Benefits of Mobility. In addition to providing group training sessions related to Quality Assurance, Understanding Moodle, Bloomberg Introduction, Help Desk, and Library & IT Services.

During the conference, couple of meetings with Cardiff Met External Moderation Team, Dr. Makarem, and Mrs. Nahle were conducted to follow up on the steps and procedure of the signed External Moderation Agreement between MUBS (LB) and Cardiff Met (UK). The External Moderation by Cardiff Metropolitan is a quality assurance measure aims toward continuous development and improvement of all MUBS academic programs, considered an added value to all MUBS nationally accredited certificates, and an important element in the path of achieving international accreditation.
