Short Bio

Dr. Nabil Abdoun holds a Ph.D. degree in Electronics, minorTelecommunications and Networking from Nantes University / Polytech,France in 2019. He is currently employed as a Doctor of ArtificialIntelligence, Cybersecurity, and Web Client Programming at the ComputerScience department of the School of Computer and Applied Sciences.
He received his Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from theLebanese University (LU), Faculty of Engineering in 2009, and his M.Eng. inNetworks and Telecommunication from Saint-Joseph University (USJ) in2011. He also received his Professional Master 1 in Sociology & HumanResources Management from the Lebanese University (LU) in 2020 and heis preparing to defend the Master thesis in this year.
Dr. Abdoun is a researcher with many years of experience in the field ofComputer Engineering. He has participated in several research projects inthe fields of Data Security, Network Security, and Natural LanguageProcessing. He has published 6 scientific papers in highly reputed journalsand conferences related to Computer Science and Engineering.
Dr. Abdoun taught many courses at the Lebanese Canadian University(LCU) in Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Computer Networks andMatlab between 2018 and 2021. He worked in several companies andimplemented many projects using different development environments. Hedid many trainings in the field of Computer Engineering, Mobile application,and Human resources management.
Dr. Abdoun has finished many additional courses and obtained manycertifications such as CCNA, CEH, CHFI, Model-based SystemsEngineering (MBSE), and Product Management. His research interestsinclude Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, DeepLearning, Natural Language Processing, Social Sciences, and HumanResources Management.
